The green lung - The cross of the guards
This natural forest park in Cannes boasts 80 hectares of vegetation, 20km of which is dedicated to well-being, with a fitness trail and 360° panoramic views over the city of Cannes and its many architectural features. During your walk, you can discover the 5 belvederes trail, designed to offer different views of the Bay of Cannes, its islands, the Esterel massif and the Préalpes d’Azur.
Walks and picnics among the mimosas, cycling, running – it’s all possible! It’s up to you to find what you’re looking for in the heart of Cannes’ greenery.
Boccacabana - Cannes la bocca
The embellishment of the commune of Cannes continues along the coast as far as Cannes la Bocca. There’s a wellness area with an extended promenade, as well as a sports area with an extended cycle path and an outdoor gym park at the Etienne Romano traffic circle. In an idyllic seafront setting, open 24/7, you’ll find 5 fitness machines and numerous fixed and parallel bars of varying heights. The gym park is totally free and open to all, so there’s no excuse not to get active!
Beach volleyball
Feel like going to the beach with friends and doing something else? No problem, Cannes thinks of everything! There are 4 beach volleyball courts open 24 hours a day. Here’s where to find them:
– Plage la bocca, 2 plots on beach n°16, Boulevard du midi-louise moreau
– Parc Picaud, 2 courts (reserved for high-level players and volleyball clubs)
Many other activities on land and in the sea can be discovered on the coast.
Cannes beaches not to be missed
Speaking of the sea, you all know that Cannes is open to the Mediterranean Sea and offers white sandy beaches (as opposed to Nice, where you’ll lay your towels on pebbles), beaches that attract many tourists every year. With its fine sand and idyllic setting on the Cannes islands (îles de Lérins), this is the perfect setting for a wonderful summer.
Public beaches
There are 13 public beaches to discover, including the Palais des Festivals beach with its fine sand and Plage Macé, the busiest in summer. Here is a list of the most beautiful public beaches in Cannes:
– Macé, Zamenhof on Boulevard de la Croisette
– Palais des Festivals
– Midi beaches, surrounded by ice-cream parlours and restaurants
– Palm beach, ideal for a family picnic

Private beaches
For lovers of glamour and luxury, Cannes offers 33 private beaches with restaurants, deckchairs, mattresses, umbrellas and private pontoons, where prices vary widely according to entertainment, services and, above all, reputation. You’ll be spoilt for choice at La Mandala, Long beach, Carlton beach, Bijou plage, Baoli beach and La Môme Plage.
